Heavenly Father,in my present need,help me to believe that you are aware of my anxiety and will do what is best for me.Give me the strength to trust you and put the present and future in your hands.Grant this through Christ, our Lord.

For Those Who Are Unemployed

God of compassion, we remember those who suffer want and anxietybecause they have no work. Guide the people of this land to use our wealthso that all may find fulfilling employment and receive just payment for their labour;through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

For Confidence

Lord, my Saviour, give me at all times a patient heart, so that I may watch and pray under the cross, and, in trust
and confidence, cast all my cares on you; for you live and reign with the Father and the Holy Spirit, now and
forever. Amen.

Almighty and loving Father, I thank you for giving St. Gerard to us as a most appealing model and powerful friend. By his example, he showed us how to love and trust you. You have showered many blessings on those who call upon him. For your greater glory and my welfare, please grant me the favors which I ask in his name.
